Based on original letters, documents and papers the story of the arrival of Edward Crooke in Australia in 1837. He was a successful squatter producing beef cattle and horses on several stations in the Omeo area, Lucknow and The Holey Plain, Rosedale. The Holey Plain property has remained in the family and continues to produce high quality beef.
